Pause a game (Not vacation)

So I'm playing a game against a friend who hasn't been on much and their vacation has ran out on their turn. I don't want the game to run out of time so is there any way I can pause the timer? We're friends on Chess.com so I would have thought I'd be able to waive the game timer when I'm awaiting their move.

In the settings for daily games, you can click or unclick a box that claims time wins in general.

Thanks for the reply - will this still time out the game though but just not record the win?

I have never used it but I assume it allows the game to continue as long as you want.

i think it will give you the option of claiming the win
