Resolved: Paying for coaching - actual mechanics of paying

Hi,

How does one actually pay for a chosen chess coach?

Is it via PayPal, VISA, etc?

Does the payment go to Chess.com or directly to the coach?

Finally, is it possible to get a receipt showing pounds sterling?

Hi Mark,

Payment is made (securely) by any major credit card. The payment goes to Chess.com and we remit to coaches the sum of all payments for purchased lessons on a monthly basis, minus a processing fee.

I don't believe that we localize currency on receipts yet (certainly none of my past accounting events show in Canadian $), but that is on the roadmap.

Just remembered that I had my chess.com membership receipt emails and they show in GBP so maybe I'll be lucky.
