I do not know the website you became from Sauron 0512, but I'm working with Winboard, (wich is recommended by chess.com ) you can also download it for free, and I'm very happy with it: very userfriendly!

of course its best to get a chess software, but i noticed you can open the file by draging and droping it into your internet browser

how can i study my previous games? how do i open the pgn files that i downloaded?
Oneway that i can impove my skills is to study my mistakes.... but i cannot open the pgn files i downloaded from my games archive....
