In order for me to better assist you with this, can you let me know the make of the device and which iOS it is.
When you last updated the app, did it install over the previous one or is this a new install?
Do you know from the app on iTunes which version it is you're using?
I'd appreciate your help in getting this problem resolved! To make the app better, we need to get the crash report from you.
You can do this by going to the "Settings" page in the iPhone app. From there you will see a "Send Data to Tech Support". That will email us with the details of the position when you crash.
Step 1:
Sync your device with your computer.
Step 2:
Find your crash log here:
- If Mac OS X : ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/
- If Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Apple
computer\Logs\CrashReporter\
- If Windows Vista: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple
computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice\
Your crash report will look like this:
Chess_2009-10-29-071531_Phone_Name.crash
Step 3:
Email your crash report to: kohai@chess.com
In your e-mail, please include your chess.com username, and let us know what you were doing (or trying to do) when it crashed. Also, Please let us know what device you have, and if you know, what your firmware version is.
Hi, i should like to make a request. Please can u fix the software on phone? Firstly i am pissed off whenever i play live chess. Keep shutting my screen black or go somewhere else and later i have to go back again. But my game time is running when that happen(many time) n lose some game for no reason.. terrible. Secondly, when a opponent offer a draw to me online chess. Wherever i wan to decline or accept the draw.. keep giving me the alert "force close". Lastly, whenever i wan to go my game at first, keep asking me to force close. I am very disappointed and unhappy about it.. i might stop playing chess here anymore..please get it fix as soon as possible.
