You're playing chess960, also known as Fischer random chess. The board is setup with 8 pawns on your 2nd rank and the 8 pieces scattered randomly over your first rank. You can recognize chess960 on this site by the icon in front of the game name.
pieces in new game incorrect positions

I am on an iphone 3gs, just started my third game and I am black. My board is set up incorect with the pieces from left to right as rook Bishop King Knight Oueen Night Bishop Rook !!!!!
Just started up my new imac to see if it was the iphone app but its the same on the imac browser too. The other two games were and are fine!
Any ideas??
