I should add that this problem persists not only for Live Chess, but for almost everything on the site. I believe that it might be a problem with my browser (I'm using Google Chrome), but would anyone know how to fix it?
Pieces "sticking" to cursor during Live Chess

Google chrome is gernerally s very stable browser and highly recommended, your issue seems to be more of a connection problem , with speed.
Firstly, please make sure that chrome is up to date.
Are you using your own broadband wirelessly or wired?
Or are you using a shared connection?
Also please make sure you are not downloading, streaming or viewing any other media or program content while you are using chess.com for best results.
If the problem still persists, you should contacts you ISP (internet service provider) and see what speeds you are getting.

Hi, Yes, I too am having this problem. I realize and appreciate people's imput, but really I am a little tired of people telling me not to have multiple applications running (I never do), or to do this with my browser, or change browsers (which I have). I am convinced that the problem is within Chess.com. I play three minute games, and when I spend an extra minute per game just trying to get my pieces to move, it becomes quite frustrating. I too turn to chess as an outlet to relieve stress, and this only exacerbates it. Help!
My account was restricted because of "unfair play", but this was not intentional on my part. For some reason the pieces are not moving or it takes multiple attempts for each move. I would click on a piece and it would almost "stick" to the cursor, moving wherever the cursor does without even holding the leftclick button. Most of the time, I wouldn't even be able to put that piece on any legal square because it's still "sticking" to the cursor. This happened every time I tried to play today (starting on the first move of games) and the server aborted the games automatically. As a result, my rating declined but I'm honestly not worried with that. If the problem continues to exist, I'm afraid there's no reason for me to play on chess.com, and there's definitely no chance I will be upgrading my account, as I have been saving up for membership the past few weeks (being a fulltime student is tough on my pockets...). I hope this works out because this is a great site to play the beautiful game of chess, and although I'm not the greatest player in the world, I usually turn to chess to relieve myself from the stress that comes with being a student. Someone please help, thank you!
