Pieces won't show with mobile broadband

I know this topic is similar to the email one but that seemed to get answered while I'm still getting problems. It was all working fine until I switched to mobile broadband (T-Mobile) and now the board loads but the pieces don't. Here are my settings:

1) Browser = FIREFOX 3.5.7

2) SessionCookies? = TRUE

3) JavaScriptEnabled? = TRUE

4) Firewall? = FALSE

5) Width/height = 1680/1050

6) Broadband? =  TRUE

7) Platform (OS) = OSX 10.5.8

Can anyone help? It's mighty frustrating and my friend will win the game if I dont move soon:)

there is a known issue where mobile broadbrand uses javascript compression and "data acceleration". you need to disable those somehow!

Incase anyone else suffers from this problem one possible work-around is to press ctrl+f5 each time the pieces don't load (probably every time, right?)

Try updating your browser as the one you're on is really old now :(

Also, dongles (usb internet sticks) are not the most reliable form of connection and those alone can cause you issues on the internet.
