Found out the iOS app has a known issue with some crowns on one of the pirate bots, if that's where you're seeing the problem.
Should be fixed in a new version of the app.

That issue happened to me too. (I’m on iOS)
I beat the parrot like 3 times without any hints or things that help but didn’t got any crowns
