Play Live Chess doesn´t work, for me..)

When I click "Play live Chess", I get a screen "We´re improving live chess"; "We should be back online soon", below the screen is a - for me unusual - board (i.e. not consistent with my settings).

I´m taken to the same screen when I click "Want to use the full board? Click here!"

I get this since a week or so, while It seems that lots of guys are playing (> 5000 players online), chatter, etc.

What´s going on? What am I doing wrong?
