It that allowed?

Please check this game:

He just wastes my time. It is quite annoying. If not what is the proper way to report such behavior?

Also why was I (rating 1500) paired with him (rating 800)? Can I prevent that?

Thanks.

It is Daily chess. Players are allowed to use their time how they want to. There is nothing reportable.

As to why you were paired, if you put out an open seek and your range wasn't sufficiently restrictive,  maybe they accepted it. Either that or you accepted their seek.

Did you look at the game at all? Check how was he playing. He was obviously trolling and playing ridiculous moves intentionally. That is the main issue.

Him stalling the last move, now when he will be mated in one, was just a last straw.

Martin_Stahl

Playing poorly is certainly nothing reportable. And using all available time is also nothing that is against any rules.

Please don't insult my intelligence with those kind of comments anymore. The way he was playing is obviously trolling. Not just playing poorly. That should not be allowed.

If you have nothing to say to help me deal with that troll than please don't bother answering.

If anyone else can help with telling me how to report this, it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It's not against the tos so it can't be reported.

This is just one of those annoying and unfortunate things in chess. I've seen it happen OTB too. It's pretty sad...

Anyway you should REALLY check your rating filters because you shouldn't be getting paired with 800s at all. Also try to play other games so that this one you can just finish in passing.

You can always report anything you want. But I'll guarantee that nothing will be done since no rules have been broken.

But the game is over so it's a moot point anyway.

The opponent was making fun with his moves, not lasting long. That's trolling but reporting someone for troll-moves? Not clever and no success.

Change your target range of opponents and you won't play against someone with a rating of 700 lower again. But if that happens it's a bug and you should report it.
