Playing with like rated players

Hi, I'm new and just joined to distract myself now and then! :) I am not a paid member, sorry. Is there a way I can get to play with other non paid members who have the same sort of rating as I do?

I have had two games so far, thank you. I made two mouse errors! Eeek! The mouse wouldn't place my piece correctly and there was no way to rectify this.

There's a lot to do even if you are nonpaying member (like me). Just go to 'live chess' tab click on 'new game' and set the settings you are interested in including rating range you'd like to play and time control. As for the placing pieces correctly do it carefully because you can't take your move back.

And if you wanted the play slower (so-called Turn-based) games, you could check existing challenges ...

PLAY -> Online Chess -> Open Seeks.

If there aren't any challenges available, you can issue one of your own. From the Online Chess page, on the right where it says: Start New Game.

Adjust Time per Move (it defaults to 3 days per move),  set Opponent Rating (if you want to - or leave it at the default i.e. 300 points either side of your rating), and hit begin>>.
