Please Improve The New 3 Consecutive Post Limit Rule

Sort:
badenwurtca

The new 3 consecutive post limit rule should be improved as it seems to suffer from a bit of overreach in it's current form. I understand the idea of limiting the number of consecutive posts that one member may leave in another member's thread in order to try to reduce the problem of spamming, however where I feel that we have a problem is in the fact that a member is blocked from his ( or her ) own threads after leaving 3 consecutive posts. This seems to be a case of overkill because when a member starts and monitors threads of their own they should then have unlimited access to their own threads. Please have your rules committee re-examine this rule with a view to making some improvements in the rule.

---   Well I've just run a test in one of my other threads and I'm sad to report that there has not been any improvement at all in the 3 Post rule. Yep to be clear I said that there has not been any improvement. So I ask where is the Customer Service for the Paying Members ???

And I've just tried a test after the earlier update, sorry folks the 3 post limit is still here ( including in Our Own Threads ). Am I surprised ? Oh yeah sure  ---  Haw Haw Haw  ---

I think this might be a case of be careful of what you ask for, you just might get it. When you ask that the 3 consecutive post rule be improved, chess.com just might do it. Would you be surprised if they improved it by imposing the new 2 consecutive post rule?

AlCzervik

as stupid as some of the changes have been, i would not be surprised.
