Poetry posting question

Was going to post a Yusef Komunyakaa poem the other day (people seem to be into poetry around here) but could not seem to figure out how to keep the lines together and not the start of a new paragraph when you hit enter, like how the lines are together in this paragraph but not here:

The rain in Spain

stays mainly in the plain

ect. ect.

GotGoose

Instead of pressing the 'enter' key.  Press shift+enter.

e.g.

The rain in Spain (shift+enter)
stays mainly in the plain.

You may find other problems than grouping your lines and the solution to all of them is simple.  If I plan a long (or in your case, a set format) post I do it on my word processor.  That allows me to read through it, run the spell checker, insert any accents or special characters I need to use.  Then I just cut and paste to the blog/forum/wherever I want to post it.

Works for me.

Thanks Dozy,...was wondering if that was possible.
