The points you get added or subtracted from your tactics rating for solving a tactics puzzle seems to depend on 3 factors
1. Puzzle rating
2. Players current tactics rating
3. Speed Bonus - Time taken to solve relative to the tactic puzzle target time
Just curious if there is a formula for calculating the points awarded based on these 3 quantities.
4. How many of the required moves you got correct.

I once scored a surprising 8 points even though I got the puzzle wrong so, of course, number of moves correct out of the total is also a factor.
The most I have ever scored for getting puzzle wrong apart from that one is +1
But I am mainly curious in this case to know if there is a formula for points awarded for puzzles that you do get correct.

As far as I'm aware, the base change is based on normal rating formulas, modified by those other factors.
