POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

So I purchase the Chess.com Gold membership while on Facebook and still not activivated. Chess.com seems to have very poor customer service, they won't answer my several emails. They can take my money but can't answer a simple email? What a bunch of lazy workers.

GodsPawn2016

How long ago did you submit a ticket?

Did you check your spam folder?

chessam1998

Do you have a payment proof ?

CrecyWar

Submit a ticket? I don't know what that is. I purchased the Gold membership while on Facebook and I didn't recieve any kind of " ticket".

A lot of Yahoo accounts were hacked awhile back.

CrecyWar

OK so I wrote ANOTHER message to Chess.com Customer Service ( the submit a ticket link provided by IamBaldrick above)- what a waist of time.

And

Pay up.

Paid already, not sure why you think I would make a complaint without paying.

RonaldJosephCote

Did you actually get a "recieved" notice from that ticket 8 mins ago ?

I paid already and epected it to be activated a few days ago ...I mean they already have my instant payment, so it takes chess.com over 5days to activate an account? And not one mention of instruction about submitting a so-called ticket. Not one email aboout my membership etc. So when Mr  IamBaldrick put up that link above I sent another message. Not sure if that answers your question.

No, no. What I'm saying is; when you sent TODAY'S ticket, did you get a message saying; "Thank you, message recieved".

1. Did you receive an email confirmation?

2. Did you check your spam folder?

3. Did you send a followup email to: https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new

RonaldJosephCote

If you paid with pay-pal;  And you have a LOT of cookies in your browser;   Its possible they never recieved the money,  because the funds transfer didn't complete.

RonaldJosephCote

Thank you God, that's what I meant---E mail  CONFIRMATION Wink    You should have also recieved a pay-pal CONFIRMATION about the money transfer with a transaction number.

CrecyWar

I have a confirmed payment. And as I have said already I have not received any  emails from FB or Chess.com. And this has nothing to do about cookies or emails going to spam file.

Is it a confirmed payment from chess.com, or your credit card company?

CrecyWar

I am not sure why you guys keep asking, I already said. I was on FB playing chess and paid for a Gold Membership and it has not been been activated. But the most frustrating thing is NO ONE from Customer Service either in FB or Chess.com will answer my several emails why it has not been activated. This is piss poor service and I am sure FB will blame Chess.com and Chess.com will blame FB. None will take responsiblitity or apologize. This is total Bull $hit.

FB has nothing to do with this.  It is just a way to login to chess.com.

Was the confirmation you received from chess.com, or your credit card company?

Senior-Lazarus_Long

That's a cunning plan. ;p

OK I GIVE UP.  I am going to ask for a refund and try doing it again. I am getting absolutely NO HELP from Customer Service. I thank you guys for trying to help.
