Thank you; my father is a good man.  He is harshest on me being a moral person however loving.  He always wanted to give me the best.  I remember in my youth he told me people can steal from you, but if you have knowledge of a skill you could always get it again.  He always stressed to get a practical education (to finish and get an engineering degree if possible).  He always says engineers are always in high demand.  My mom is the "You can do it just keep trying!" type of person.  No matter how hard it is or "impossible" my mom says pray to Jesus Christ 0 A.D. and he will give to you#  My father was also a spirit person rebuking me once saying "You cannot take money with you when you die; DO THE RIGHT THING!"

Well I appreciate Member Support- Matt, for working on Sunday...but keep in mind it took almost a week...to get my membership activated...So is that your definition of a " few days " ? And there was no explanation why it took so long ? Chess.com needs to improve their service.

 

You started this topic 2 days ago. Based on how quickly you jumped to asking for a charge-back from your card company and some of your other comments I figured it hadn't been very long. Especially when you finally did get the auto-reply when you opened a ticket after opening this topic. So maybe I made the incorrect conclusions based on your posts. meh.png

Yes, but I can't help with billing or account issues like that: log a ticket with the Support team via https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new. It would help if you could describe what your friend is trying to click on to upgrade and any messages they are getting. Cheers!
