Popup Notification

From this morning I continue to receive this annoying popup window.

Notice I'm a diamond member, and I shouldn't receive popup. I also turned all the notifications OFF, because I just come to this website to relax and enjoy chess, I don't want advertisement or other stuff.

After having this annoying popup coming out every time I open a new missed tactic, I installed an add-on on firefox, and this still comes out.

Please chess-com support make it stop.

It is a setting in the browser that is making it not stick. I've tried to recreate the problem but I don't see it on the newest developer's edition of Firefox and couldn't get it to do it even after removing all cached files, all cookies, and the notification rights in the options of the browser.

This member got it to stop by changing a setting: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/annoying-notifications-request?page=1#comment-46637396

Not sure which one, since I don't have anything massively customized for the site and it doesn't prompt me.

This was mentioned in two other threads, but I might as well mention it here, too. You can block the popup by installing the "uBlock Origin" extension into your browser, then manually blocking the element.

I did install it and it doesn't stop it. However for logic if on February 23rd didn't happen and now it's 2 days it happens, I don't think it's Firefox, but it's chess.com which did something. Since I joined about 2 months ago, and never had it. Chess.com could stop at least for the diamond user.

The site enables an option to take advantage of browser built in notification capabilities. I don't know if this has made it out of beta yet, but I have the option to force it to prompt.

I haven't had the prompt for a while and haven't received it after clearing out my cache and cookies either.

Just installing the extension isn't enough. Did you manually block the element?
