On the page where I'm shelling out $100 for the diamond membership it says "All Premium Plans Include: NO Ads, Opening Explorer, ChessTV, Drills, Club Management, and Time-out Protection for Daily Games"
Then after I login on the chess.com page with my new fancy premium membership the first thing I see is a huge banner ad. Upon searching the Help files:
I am a premium member! Why am I seeing ads?
Please note that all members will occasionally see relevant (chess-related) advertising on the Chess.com main page.
Just FYI, "NO ads" does not equal "will see advertising on the Chess.com main page." "NO ads" means "no ads, period." Disappointing.
This?
/ That's not an ad. That's an announcement. And whatever it is, it only appears on the home page.
/ You must be the only person in the world who would complain about getting the chance to study with one of the world's leading chess coaches for free
