Problem while analyzing a puzzle in app - Chess Forums

Every time that I analyze a chess puzzle, it always shows an evaluation but does not show a move at the top. For example it will evaluate me to be +8.99 but will only show me like a +3.50 possible line. I'm confused. I have a picture. This is on the phone app. Please help

I think the top number is the precalculated analysis, which may not have been done at length or may have been done with an old engine.

I tested by arrowing through the moves, and the line given is the solution and I'm pretty sure the evaluation there is the live evaluation.

Ah ok thanks so much for the information. I thought the app was being a bit glitchy, thanks for clarifying. Sometimes it will not even show the evaluation unless I go back and forward a few times. I am on a galaxy s9+
