On July 2023 I moved to a different state (which happens to not have a state tax). However, automatic payment method renewed my subscirption and added an old state tax. I tried to contact support team to fix that problem. They mentioned that: "Our systems uses the location according to the zip code users entered.". So I asked to update my zip/code payment location to the current one. However, the reply which I got from the support (person name Ashish) is the following:
"Unfortunately it cannot be changed now. If you want I can issue a full refund and you can go ahead and make a new purchase with your current location. Let me know how that sounds.
But please remember it will cancel your old plan prize and you have to pay for new plan in that case."
Is it really the case that they are unable to update a zip code for the new location? It sounds like a scam to force me to convert to the new subscription plan.
That's not something anyone in the forums is going to be able to help you with. Staff are the only ones that have sufficient rights or knowledge of what is or isn't technically possible.
