problem with moves not registering

I've had several games lost to abandonment that I didn't abandon; I made moves and it timed out anyway. I think the problem may be that I installed chess.com on a new iPad and then engaged the Preview Move feature without understanding what it was. I have since turned it off and logged off from both devices but then had the same problem just now.

Can you tell from your server log what is going wrong and let me know what if anything I need to do to fix it.

I have seen games do that on the website. The client gets in a hung or partially disconnected state but doesn't recognize that. On the website, refreshing the page is often enough to kick things back into gear.

 

I don't think the app has a way to force the freconnection like that.
