Well, now my avatar is showing....however, when I tried to change my avatar today, it would not show my new photo and would only show the default chess.com pawn picture.
So then I attempted to change it back to my old avatar and it would not upload. No photo would upload to my avatar and I'd only show the default pawn. I cleared cache and re-booted, etc...but nothing.
I've been logged off for a few hours by now but I see my old avatar appears fine now.

when i first logged on today the avatar picture I picked before was there. but when i tried changing it went back to the pawn picture. it said it was succesfully changed! but it wasn't!

The type of themes from 11 years ago don't exist anymore.
If you're having an issue, try clearing your browser cache
