Problems playing since a few day

If it is a server problem, maybe chess.com started some new servers within the last weeks in Germany at a cheap server farm or low performance. This is the main reason for problems like this.

I am starting to have technical problems again with Live Chess. Same as few days ago, connection is always lost and when you are lucky enough to have a game started it goes in timeout without any fault on your side. A question for those who had the problem in Germany, are you able to play with no problem now?

Have you tried contacting Deutsche Telekomm?

Is the rest of Chess.com working for you and the rest of the internet?

Yes everything is fine: My Internet and the rest of Chess.com......its just the matchmaking of chess.com which is not working. In 1 out of 10 a game is established which then has a very bad connection with major lags of 20 secs and a red bar down bottom.......Usually i always had green connecton status an no lags at all.

Thx for the answer cocerning the trial but my point ist: I want to try before i pay.....when i pay i just get full access plus 10 days of trial ;) :)

floriberle: Have you tried asking Deutsche Telekom for support? That is really an issue far away from Chess.com servers... We are still investigating anyway.

The question is, whom to ask at Deutsche Telekom. Its a huge company with an even that huge bad support. If you dont know which department to contact, you can easily waste a day or two, finding it.

The DSL line is not the problem, all other servers and websites which I visit are ok. So the question is, if there are some routines in Java for example, who cause the firewall or anti vir of telekom, to slow the data speed.

Live Chess is working fine since yesterday again, btw. Thx!

That might be related to massive usage of http://live.chess.com for all the messaging, perhaps they block the traffic under high usage by many users? We are not using Java or Flash for Live Chess, it is plain browser, but with a lot of traffic going between the browser and live.chess.com domain via http.
