problems with messages and e-mail

Yesterday I when I checked how many messages I had, It said 360 or so. A lot right? Today I logged in and found that the counter said I had 283 messages. Impossible!! I did not delete any of my old messages! The counter is oviously wrong.

As for the e-mail problems, it still won't let me log on. The counter just says "new". I thought Chess.com was supposed to have this done already. They also promised no e-mail would be lost. This is not the case. 

Is this happening with everyone's accounts or is it just me?

Which browser are you using for the email and what happens when you enter your  @chess.com email address and password to login to emails?

I am using internet explorer to log in. I am logging in directly from Chess.com, so I do not have to type in a password.

I have the same problem.

Can you try logging out of your emails then use this

Log back in and check emails.

Then If its still showing as having more than there are, let me know please.
