puzzle clock running 5 seconds longer

I have been noticing the last week, probably two, that when I solve a puzzle the clock continues to run for approximately 5 seconds, after I have completed the puzzle and it has accepted my move. It may have been going on longer but I hadn’t noticed.

Being that puzzles are timed , I am sure that this is affecting my rating negatively. Also , it is quite distracting going into another puzzle knowing that it is going to happen again.

If someone could please help me with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.
