puzzle problem(bugged puzzle?)

I have twice now got the same puzzle when doing novice level “basic checkmate” puzzles. The “solution” has you trade queen for rook, then check the king with rook….but its not checkmate. In analysis i dont see any checkmate.

It was very confusing and ive asked some much higher rated players and they didnt get it either

Link to the puzzle? Also, not all puzzles are going to be mate

Not sure how i link a puzzle. It came up both times in custom puzzles with the settings I mentioned. I know all puzzles wont be mate, but these were specifically checkmate puzzles. Also i checked analysis there was no obvious checkmate in following moves. Especially since it was novice puzzle this is odd. I screen-captured it both times but cant post pictures…

The tags on puzzles are hit and miss. Sometimes the puzzle is changed after a while due to problems, sometime people tag the puzzles incorrectly or tag it based on bad play.
