Puzzles freeze on iPhone / iPad after latest App update

Dear Chess.com Support Team,

I have been regularly solving Puzzles on my iPhone 15, as well as iPad Pro 6th gen, both with latest IOS 18.7.1 since this summer when I first enrolled to chess.com. However, since last week, something has changed when I uploaded the IOS 4.9.21 version.

As long as I get the puzzles correct, I can continue to the next one. However, whenever I make an error, the red RETRY button doesn’t appear at the bottom of the board, the app just stays like that with the clock running (although my rating is still reduced due to the error I made!!), and the Hint button also does not work… Hence, I can’t retry my last move / analyze the position to understand my error.

The only way to get out of this frozen state is to hit the back button at the top left and go back to the Main Menu. If I click on Solve Puzzles again (hoping to arrive at the last mistaken puzzle), it gives me a brand new puzzle from start, so the opportunity to learn from the mistake is already gone ://

Are you guys aware of this bug lately? Seeing that IOS 4.9.22 version just arrived today, I immediately updated to this version, hoping that the bug may have already been fixed. However, no luck - the issue is still continuing… 

PS: Are there other chess.com users suffering from the same software bug?

We're looking into this. I have reached out to the user to investigate it further. If you're also experience the same problem (Retry option missing after a wrong puzzle), please let us know here.
