Puzzles too easy

Hello, Idk why but my rated puzzles got too easy, I get like 400 rated puzzles when I'm 2200 rated, and even if I get 20 in a row they remain really low rated.

yesss same here, wth is going on with the puzzles ?

im 2260 and i havent gotten a puzzle above 1800 in like 30 puzzles. its not fun, i dont feel like im improving anymore. 
a couple months ago it wasnt like that. you used to always get puzzles no less than like 300 points under or 200 above your rating

There's been an update to how puzzles are rated on the back end but the UI is still using the old ratings. You can't tell what the actual rating is that's being used at this point but it should be updated in the near future.

The new system is designed to have more accurate ratings for puzzles.

Same problem. My rating is somewhere around 2700, but I haven't gotten a puzzle harder than 1800 in the last few days.

You can't currently rely on the displayed puzzle rating as those are mostly not accurate anymore. At some point the ratings being used will be updated in the interface

Yeah i was rated 2200-2400, now i'm at 3600, just few days and i'll be good as Hikaru lol.

I’m riding a 40+ streak right now my rating is 3089! I’m ranked 25,971 this is amazing! I wrote to them and they still won’t fix it so I’ll take it. I kind of feel like it’s helped me to slow down tho. Until recently, I was regularly knocking out 23-2500s but the incentive to study the whole board and really internalize the basics has been helpful, rather than guessing my way through more of the harder ones. I was starting to feel like the puzzles were hurting my game but not so much after doing all these easier drills over and over.

i agree on that, doing the basics over and over is helping a lot, idk tho if avoiding the harder ones will hurt my game in the long run, cause right now i have to play tematic puzzle to get something over 1800 which is wierd.

Yeah still same problem here, it s july and i went from harstucking 2400 puzzle elo to 3100+ playing exclusively 2000- puzzles. I had very hard puzzle that challenged me and today that s kinda chess roting. What would they make it like that and still not fix it ? I totally don't get it

Yea, I'm pretty baffled myself. I very rarely see puzzles that break 2,000 and at the moment I'm around 2400. I see people trying to suggest that the new puzzle rating update just isn't reflecting the true rating of the puzzles being offered, but I gotta say. That kind of sounds like bologna to me. The whole reason I went looking to answers to this question myself is because I got presented with a puzzle that was so far below my rating that I felt like I was being pranked. I checked the rating of it and sure enough it was a 400 rated puzzle, and I can absolutely confirm after looking at that puzzle myself that 400 sounds about right for it.

Ha, multiple 4000-rated puzzles are 1 move... I rest my case.

Everything was good with the puzzles before. I think the change was not good. Now I got +1000 to my rating and still getting same easy puzzles. All comparisons with other players who earned everything honestly are broken :(

Can someone from stuff what's going on ? It's pointless doing two moves motifs over and over again.

This is buggy. Im a weaker player and went from under 2000 to over 3000 puzzle rating in a few days. Just getting easy puzzles, a lot of them rated under 1000. Best streak was 173 in a row. According to ranking im 99.9%. No way thats true.

I have been grinding for months to get to 3300... please fix that ASAP chess.com... this is not fair.

I see so many people got from 2000 to 3000 during July 7th to July 10th. weird bug, please fix it ASAP

You ruined the personal puzzles rating value completely by adding the "difficulty setting" (available on the web site only up to now) and turning the default to easy "standard". It is not comparable any more for no one.
