Puzzles....in more than 1 way!!!

mozzila is the browser. the error is a banning circle.
mine is a black circle kohai.
I don't know what "cache" is ,or a "screeshot" .

well i can't really tell what the problem is :) you ONLY have trouble playing puzzles? not diagrams? not playing chess against others?

I have this problem only with the puzzles .
I don't know what you mean by "diagrams" . I haven't figured out lots of things....like how does the "tactics trainer " work and why I cannot re-find some of the interesting articles and blogs after I have logged in. huh
I intend to stick around though, because it is such a nice site and I get the chance to even play some chess.

The black circle with the line through it means you cannot do something.
For example; If you try holding down the mouse button on one of the chess pieces on the diagram above, and try to move it, the black circle will appear again.

You're trying to make a move but first you have to click on the button "TRY AGAIN".
Thx lfeb, but the issue here are the puzzles , not "tactics trainer". The "try again" button works just fine....
If you read my first post, you will get what I mean.

It says "incorrect move" hahahhaha. As for the banning circle, it hasn't appeared.

i think you might have been trying to solve the puzzle from the homepage :) you can no longer do that. you have to click on the board and then solve in the forum :)
I have a puzzling situation about puzzles. I am wondering if you can help ?
I am not sure if this is about the puzzles themselves or maybe my computer, but when I get to a puzzle here on the site, whether it is a daily puzzle or a puzzle offered by other players every so often I cannot make the move with the piece I chose. I mean, I am a beginner in chess and I may not find the right move in the first place,( I admit that ) but it is a bit frustrating to try all the possible moves for every piece and still, not to be able to finish the puzzle. When then I decide for the easier way -which is show the sollution- I see the correct move, I see that I was right at a certain time and yet I could not move the piece . Can you please tell me what this is all about ? And yes, I was logged in.
I like coming here. It is a cosy place to be. Thank you for chess.com !!!!
