Are you talking about daily games? If so then go to https://www.chess.com/settings/daily and click "stay on this game' in the drop down menu.

If you're on one of the apps, it's under More > Settings > Notifications und My Move, at least on Android. I'm not 100% sure that mobile setting Aldo includes the low time warning though.

Since you said you didn't see the setting option I mentioned first, that seemed to imply you're on one of the mobile apps.
