On your profile, click on the games tab and it tells you.
Rated or unrated, how can I tell?
Can you send a screenshot because I'm not finding what you're describing. Are you sure that function is still there? Below is my games tab. I believe you can see it's not mentioned if the games are rated or not.
You can't tell from that screen. You have to go into the games and look. There is an information tab that will tell you if the game is rated or unrated.
Can you also see if the game is rated or not from the app? I usually use the app to play but I can't find a similar function on it so far.
I think it's the same on an iphone. Too bad if they didn't think of that. Maybe they can add it in an update. Is anybody important reading this, do you think? Daniel Rensch! Fix this!!
June 2019. There is still no info thing on the iPhone app. At least not that I can find.
But you can login to chess.com on a browser. There you will find the info tab.
come on guys. 2.5 years later. Add the info tab update to the iPhone app.
please. Purty please with sugar on top.
Very much agreed. Fix your app chess.com. I feel like I should just delete the app and play from the website if this is how it’s gonna be …
Here to say we need an “information” tab AND an analysis option on the app. Get after it chess.com
There's an Analysis Board on the Android app. Think it might be there on iOS.
Just started playing last month and figured I was just overlooking something. So I look on these forums and find this thread, with the same question I have, from 2016… How is this not fixed yet? You should be able to tell if a game is rated or not while you’re playing.
I only have the option to select it when challenging friends, not working for random players.
Maybe step up the priority for this?🤔
Totally agree. I just realised a rematch with a friend must've been unrated but I only want to play rated games. Looks like I can't even tell if a game is rated unless I start/accept the match on my laptop and play it on my phone as normal. I love the app but there is quite a lot of info missing on the app which would make it so much better especially as chess players tend to be technical enough to grok it.
I am playing a bunch of games always, and sometimes I get mixed up which are rated and unrated. Is there a way to tell?
