Rated puzzle becomes unrated/unregistered if time to complete is too long?

If I take too long to complete a rated puzzle (unsure of how long, possibly 30+ minutes) then the puzzle is sometimes neither rated nor registered on my account. This seems to occur more commonly (possibly only) for my first rated puzzle of the day.

For example, the image below shows the first puzzle I have completed since the 28th of August, which I completed today. It took me over 30 minutes, which seems to sometimes be a trigger for the puzzle not being rated or registered on my account.

Shown below is a screencap of my most recently completed rated puzzles. As you can see, the above puzzle has not been registered.

Any idea what is causing this or how to fix it? Thanks.

The very first puzzle attempt in a session isn't counting. It doesn't matter how long it takes.

Staff are aware and looking into it

Ok, thanks. The problem has been around for quite some time, do you know when a solution/fix might land?

I'm not sure. Staff became aware relatively recently as far as I know. Bugs get triaged based on severity and get placed into the queue to be looked at based on priority.

Has any progress been made in resolving this issue? It distorts the progress of someone like myself who only completes 1-3 puzzles a day at most.

Has any progress been made in resolving this issue? I have just experienced this bug again.
