Rating range must include your own rating - cannot play games

Just signed up and get this error message when I try to play a 1 day game: “Rating range must include your own rating”. Cannot find anywhere to enter rating estimate. Totally confused cannot play any chess. Can anyone help me pls? Thanks

Under Settings > Daily Chess verify what is under your Opponent Rating section.
Thanks for helping. Under that menu there are only 3 rows:
After I move
Confirm each move
On vacation
(Nothing about rating)
This can’t be the normal onboarding experience for new players... very obscure. Should be log in and start game no?

There could be a problem with the app’s initial daily rating. I recall this being mentioned in the forums before by a new member.
To get started, try accepting an open daily challenge. Hopefully when that game is done, your daily rating will be reset properly.
