Rating

Hi,

I just joined and played a few games online.  My rating changed at the end of each game, as I would expect.  But the next time I logged on to the site, it was 1200 again.  Is your rating only good for a session?  A day?

So far it looks like you have played blitz, standard, and bullet games all of which are no longer 1200 rating.  I guess you are seeing your chess 960 rating at 1200 since you haven't played that yet.

Does that explain the 1200 rating?

I think it was just because I didn't realize that I had three different ratings for the different types of games.  I opened up a game and saw 1200 -- which was accurate for that type of game -- and didn't understand why it wasn't the same rating I'd seen last (which was for a different type of game).
