Then people with three-legged race ratings would want to transfer those as well. Where would the madness stop?

I was a bit over the top.

A pool of players generate ratings applicable to that pool alone.

In order for this to happen we'd have to merge the iGoogle app with Chess.com. At the moment this isn't something we're looking at doing sorry.
