ok -so I don't get notified that a challenge has gone out to him like it used to do?

I have a similar problem. The game was drawn today - I clicked on "rematch", but it tells me "error- rating too low" . I don't get it. His rating is about 75 points lower than mine. Is this a temporary glitch? I play with different opponents, some of them have a rating 800 points below mine and it was never a problem to initiate a rematch.

I have just won a game and clicked 'rematch'. Nothing seems to have happened, the old site look used to tell us that a new challenge has been issued but this doesn't. Will the person be notified or do I need to do something else for a rematch?
