sargon 3 vs fidelity par exellence

As I recall, Sargon 3 on slow hardware (like 8088) was about 1750 USCF (officially). I had Sargon 4 and on my old 8086 it was about 1700 by my estimate.
It's hard to place a real human-like strength on these old silicon opponents. Once you got an idea of what it was capable of you'd adjust in ways that you couldn't with a human opponent.
The foremost example would be the endgame. You could be dead lost and enter the endgame and end up winning as the machine was typically lost at sea.
did anyone ever own a chess program called sargon 3 for the old macin the 80s or fidelitys electronic chess board called the par exellence? i was looking to buy either of these, also would lke to know wich program is stronger sargon 3 or par exellence-plz email me at chess_assasin11@yahoo.com
