Save computer game or import pgn from clipboard (android)

In the Help section it's explained that after playing the computer you can save the game, but the "save" button doesn't appear. It also says there's an "archive", but I don't see that either. I can click the "share" icon (after the game finishes) and copy to clipboard, but then I still don't seem to be able to open the game from the clipboard in the app. I have premium (trial, still), and would like to save those little practice games, as often during analysis the computer finds missed "mate in x" that end up being fun puzzles. I also like to analyze my missed book moves. Anyway, maybe this feature just doesn't exist, but it'd be a very nice one to have (and the help topics should then perhaps be updated to say that it's not possible, at least not on android).

The save option hasn't been released to the apps yet.

That's a bummer, but that explains why I searched in vain. It'd be nice though if this were reflected in the help topics on archive, saving and analysis (also not available afaik), for instance by adding a line "not supported in X".

So I assume there isn't a workaround or trick either, for instance by importing a game? Put in other words, anything of the form "create, edit, analyze or save your own games" isn't supported in Android, right?

I use an Android tablet and play all my games using the app. I also can access chess.com using the tablet's Chrome web browser. What I do when I want to save a played computer game from the app is I paste the PGN into the Explorer in the Chrome web browser and save and access them that way.

@kingmoored, great! That sounds like a good temporary workaround. Hopefully they'll add the "save" button soon.

My understanding is the code is ready, it's just that the Save option is newer and the Android team is waiting for the go ahead to push the update.

In January, the Android app got some cool new features, including... You can now optionally save games vs the Bots to your Archive!

I just updated my app and indeed the option to save games vs Bots is now there.

Its shocking how a popular chess app doeant support many feautures that pc app does... chess.com software is very poor in terms of ui and game feautures
