saving login data with firefox

Hi folks,

for some reason firefox never even asks me to save my login data for chess.com so I have to enter it manually each time. It works perfectly with all other pages, am I the only one with this problem here? I'm currently using firefox 3 but already had the same issue with version 2 before.

When you are at http://www.chess.com/login.html you should see a box to check for "Keep Me Logged In". This should save your login data.

That stores the information in a cookie but I'd rather have it saved to the firefox saved passwords database. Firefox doesn't seem to recognize the text fields here as actual password/username fields like it does on other pages.
