screen lock

When I watch games the screen locks up every 4 or 5 minutes and I have to swipe away the lock. Not fatal, but annoying. Is there a way to change this behavior? I am on Android.

That is a function of the device, not the app.
I have the same problem. I have checked the settings on my phone, and this only ever happens when I am on the chess.com app. (In fact, I have never seen that particular lock screen in another context...)
Same problem for me, only on Chess.com

I am having the same issue. Only with chess.com. I see the forums have been useless to help find a solution.

oh its a "if inactive for x amount of time turn off screen" sort of thing

Hi, my solution came with a help from ChatGPT. It is a configuration of Game Boost that protects the screen from unwanted touch. And this is why it only applies for chess app and not others because chess app is on Game Boost others aren't. And in general in other games we keep touching the screen contrary to chess. Hope it has helped.
