second game being opened while one is ongoing

hi,
For some reason, I keep getting a second game opened after I already have one, forcing me to resign one of the games. This has happened infrequently in the past, so I wasn't too concerned about it, but in the last 30 minutes it happened 3-4 times for me. Does anyone know why this occurs and how I should prevent it?
