How do you know the server is aborting and there isn't a problem with your PC, OS, browser and/or ISP? Next time try filling in all these blanks by identifying all the appropriate hardware and software and maybe some total stranger will actually be interested in helping you and while you're at it be sure to indicate the version #s for your OS and browser, and when this has been occuring (dates and times) so other peeps can see if your problem is "proprietary" or widespread.

When you start a new game, there is a box on the right of the screen which shows the person you are playing and their win/loss/draw stats. When the game aborts, it is within this box that tells you that the game was aborted by your opponent. It is here that it says "game aborted by server" (when neither my opponent or I aborts a game).
I presumed that this was a common occurance, obviously not.

We recently introduced a change whereby the server will abort games if the players don't move in ~20 seconds or so. See here for details.
why does the game i have just started, aborts due to server? But then i get a message saying if i keep aborting games i will be punished! Whats going on?
