I might be confused but I thought whenever the chess.com servers went down while you were still playing the game was automatically aborted. When the servers came back online it told me my time had run out. I tried contacting support but I had a hard time getting past the ai assistant. I was told to click a connect to agent button which I could not find(maybe I am just blind) and when I asked where it was it gave me step by step instructions on how to log in for some reason. I tried emailing them but support@chess.com can not be used for support.
Usually when there's a site issue there's automated refunds applied to impacted games during the outage.
If that hasn't happened after a couple of days you can contact Support using the option in the menu
