FWIW, I had this issue and I just updated the app from the play store (no uninstall needed), and it works now.

Looks like you're right, looks like they just put out an update that fixes it. Yay!
My app is also not working. It is showing service unavailable. When is the fix expected.
went to app store, my apps, and forced an update. working for me now 
Hola, la ultima actualización me dice que el servicio no esta disponible. La he desinstalado y vuelto a instalar y continua el problema.
Alguna solución?

Revisa que la ultima version sea la v4.1.2-21950. Con esa version se soluciono el problema en mi caso.

I'm not seeing any app issues.
It's possible your ISP might be blocking connections
looks like they have pulled the latest update which broke things. try uninstalling then downloading from the playstore again, should work now.
