Repeatedly aborted games will result in a "Fair Play Warning" and you won't be able to play anybody until you sit out for a while.
Rather than excluding lower rated opponents, why don't you play a little more carefully? Play slower games if you need the time to figure things out.
At any rate, you can set the range in "Create Challenge". The staff has previously said you can wait a long time if you don't include your own rating in the range you are looking for.
Good day all, I use the chess.com app to play daily, and very rarely do I play on the computer. I cannot see how to set my opponents rating for live chess...? I've been climbing my way to the mid-1200s, when I'll make a silly blunder to a much weaker opponent costing me 10+ rating points. I would prefer not to face opponents 100+ ratings points below me, but when I click abort game, I am given the same opponent again. It's frustrating. Sorry for being long winded. How do I set my preferred opponents rating in live chess on the app? Thank you much, Jack
