Site hacked?

Hi, I received an email via MS Outlook addressed to my Chess.com username purporting to be an Alert. When opened it shows the usual words, but also the following: %%WEBBUG.URL%%. Is this malicious?

This incident leads me to wonder if it is possible to save one's game archive to an external harddrive?

Please advise.

Often, when I receive a message from someone, I get a chess.com alert which says 'Click to view alert' and that WEBBUG.URL.  Clicking on it just takes me to my home page and I can never see the alert.  I know they are real messages because I've sent a message to all my tournament players, including myself, and that's what I got.  It's not a virus but it appears to be a bug.  Perhaps that is what the WEBBUG.URL part of it is telling us!  I'd like someone to confirm it's a bug and try to fix it.

Hi guys.  Thanks for the report.  It is just a bug, the site hasn't been hacked :) It should be fixed on the next update. The alerts that you're receiving are tournament announcements.

However, you are able to save games by downloading the PGN files to your computer.

Thanks for that, Jaclyn.
