What do I need to get more speed out of this site?  I'm running Java Ver 6 and Firefox Ver. 3 - any suggestions?

Become a premium member if you arent already. it makes the site intentionally slow for free players.

Making this site intentionally slow for non-paying members?  Now this is something I never thought this site would do to people - I will now start considering my site options.

I don't think the site is intentionally slow for non-paying members. But the ads slow things down, specially during peak time.

They give me free play. I have to looks at ads. Seems like a good deal to me.

The ads help pay for the site for non-paying members freely. Outside of upgrading your membership, try increasing the Ram in your computer.

From what I remember, the speeds sent from Chess.com are the same, but viewing the ads (free members only) slow down the process.

fzweb, can you please give me more details as to how to go about this. I have firefox with addons Adblock Plus but I just don't know what you mean by NoScript.
