That's interesting, however I don't think my rating change could be related to this. These changes were made in fall, but my rating changed last week (if not even more recently). Also, they should have added ratings according to the post, but my rating was subtracted. This is all especially interesting since I don't recall a rating change prior to this date at all. Am I entited to 400 rating points in addition to the 200 that were taken away from me (I've been sitting at 1805 for a loooong time)?

How do you know this? You don't seem to work with chess.com, so I assume you know something I don't. Have you heard of something like this happening before?

I think you have to write in to support directly and ask them to investigate.
Looking at your archive, you have 77 games against one player out of your 215 total games. I wonder if that could have had an effect. (Maybe they changed the rating formula to limit the effect of games against one player.)
I recently checked my standard rating and noticed it was 1605. This is strange, since last time I checked, it was 1805 (and I haven't played a rated standard game in a long time). So, I wondered if someone had been playing games on my account. However, this was not the case. In fact, if you check my rated standard games, my rating is 1805 in the last one. So, I conclude that this must be some sort of error (I certainly didn't receive any message from chess.com saying ratings are being lowered). While this isn't a huge deal, I am somewhat upset about this. I don't play standard games anymore, but I always thought it was somewhat of an achievement to reach 1805 in standard, and I want that to be reflected when people hover over my name. Plus, this might be an interesting thing to look into for a member of the staff here, since surely this could happen to someone else.
