Starlink internet/ constantly being dropped + auto resign

I recently got starlink. Due to how it connects to the satellites it drops out for a few seconds every 5 mins. This is not really a problem with Xbox or Steam gaming or any other of my online services. However on chess.com it results in around %75 of my games being auto-resigned as such I'm only playing guest until I can find a solution.

Are you getting the same with guest play? If so, there is likely nothing you'll be able to do to improve things. The dropouts and lag likely always cause problems in live play.

I live on a small island off the SC coast and have a problem with the auto resign due to the spotty reception. I realize a percentage of ghee matches

I would probably lose but there are matched that I was well ahead and was auto resigned. I'm 79 and can't think as fast as most players therefore I play 30 minute matches and need this time. In the overall scheme I feel you are making older players play faster thus making mistakes and not demonstrating the true potential of all players

Same. Very frustrating. Keeps auto resigning me. Why can't chess.com just change the time settings for auto resign? It shouldn't be hard to do that.

Looking at the dates here, this problem is over 2 years old. And nobody can fix it? There's a lot of star link users that are being pushed away.

The site is trying to be cognizant of the other player as well so they don't have to wait for a player that isn't there, whether on purpose or due to technological issues.
