Same with me, There was a staller and I didn't want to waste time so I anorted
myself. But it did nothing except remove all the buttons. I restarted the app but it still went back to an empty board with nothing. I had to delete the app then redownload it.

I am now having this issue but deleting and redownloading the app does not help.

Same exact thing is happening to me right now! How do I fix this? I restarted my phone as well as redownloaded the app. Nothing fixed it.

I am also having this issue as well. I have contacted chess com for support.
I think there’s a server issue of some sort. I’ve deleted and updated the app but the problem persists.

For me what resolved it was just waiting for a short period of time. I’m not sure if in that time chess.com reset something in their end, but the issue stopped happening for me the next day. Uninstalling and reinstalling wasn’t of any help so I believe that there really isn’t much as users of the app we can do to resolve it ourselves.
